The House
Duft is German for scent
The plainer word, chosen deliberately. An independent fragrance house working from a single workshop in Kalyan, composing in small batches, publishing what is in the bottle.
Small batches
A few hundred bottles per batch. Raw materials used close to when they arrive. A composition can be pulled from the shelf if a material changes — not quietly reformulated around a substitute and hoped nobody notices.
The trade-off is that things sell out. Sometimes for weeks. A fragrance that is unavailable is an inconvenience. A fragrance that smells different from the one you bought last year is worse.
What you will find on every product page
- The full note pyramid — top, heart, base
- The concentration, as a real classification, not a marketing word
- An honest longevity range — if it lasts three hours, the page says three hours
No star ratings. No review counts. No “bestseller” labels. Fragrance is the most personal thing you can buy online. An aggregate score tells you what other people like, and that is a different question.
Sampling
Every composition is available as a 10 ml travel atomiser — two weeks of real wear, on your skin, in your climate. Enough to know. We do not accept change-of-mind returns on opened bottles, and we would rather tell you that before the sale than after it.
Honest limitations
Prepaid orders only. The saving goes into the bottle.
